Varney`s Restaurant in Brookhaven

Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Excellent character, yummy dishes, good service. 5 stars.

This was a nice spot for seafood. Charming with some outdoor seating. I went for lunch. Next to a main road so a bit loud for outdoor seating. I had baked clams and mussels. They were well cooked but nothing special.

Relaxed and low-key with picnic tables outside. Steamed clams as a special were perfect. Fried bay scallops were sweet and tender. Definitely plan to return!

They’re great! Food & Service is EXCELLENT. Atmosphere is very homey.

This restaurant is small, but truly packs a punch. My wife had salmon and was pleasantly surprised at how much salmon she got. I too had fish, Cod to be precise , and was also surprised at how much fish I received. The only drawback we noticed was the length of time it took to get our meals.

I simply searched for seafood, and this spot came up on maps. I saw it had some other good reviews. Seafood gumbo was spicy enough and served piping hot. I got the mussels in red sauce, photo is dinner entree size. Everything was amazing! I would definitely return to try baked clams, and Meredith told me the duck was also "the best". Will definitely be returning, and recommending it to others.

Wow, such a great environment. Friendly staff and above all.. awesome food. My Lobster Roll one of the best I've ever had. Do not doubt trying this unique place. CONGRATULATIONS. 2 thumbs up 👍👍

The outdoor seating is perfect, and as usual the food is supreme. The lobster rolls and the mussels with white wine are great.

Love Varneys, love the food, love being able to eat outside. It is a quaint little place.
